This page shines a light on companies that advertise in Spanish in the US on billboards. These billboards are springing up all over the country. Please contact the companies and let them know that you are boycotting their products as long as they advertise in America on billboards in the Spanish language.
The language of America is still English. Other countries do not generally have billboards in a foreign language. There is no reason that we should allow it here. It gives people the wrong idea about not needing to learn English in this country.
If enough people stop using their products and let them know about it, they will take these billboards down. If you see a billboard in Spanish that is not listed here, please do not buy their products. Call the company and complain about it. You probably will not be the only one complaining.
The focus here is on a few of the major offenders, but please do leave a comment about other billboards that are not listed here. This list will be updated from time to time as more information becomes available.

This billboard below communicates a racially-tinged sexual message, which would seem very odd and would not be written on an English-language billboard. The billboard reads, “Very good like the white girl, who is checking you out.” “Güera” can just mean blonde girl, or it can be used as slang for American girl.
Would they write in English in a white neighborhood, “Very good like the Latina, brown or black girl, who is checking you out?” I doubt it. But it is apparently permissible in Spanish, when it demeans whites.
